Kids and growing pumpkins go together. Especially at Halloween! Today we read "Its Pumpkin Time," a book about planting and growing pumpkins. We found out pumpkins are filled with many seeds. We took pumpkin seeds and the students were able to have some hands on fun! The class estimated how many seeds they thought were inside a pumpkin. Our estimates ranged from 2 through one hundred million! We found that the pumpkin had 340 seeds!
