Sight Words

Dear Parents,

I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little bit about a sight word program that we are starting in our class in the next week.  If you haven’t heard your child talk about it yet, they soon will be.  Part of Pre-K 4 reading program is the introduction to sight words. 

Learning sight words help children become more confident readers. Each week we will be working with 4 sight words. Although kids won't need to be able to read these sight words until the end of kindergarten, if you get started with sight words, this is a great place to start ... before kindergarten rolls around! This coming week’s words will be:
