Measuring with "Bear Feet

Our class had lots of fun counting and measuring today with "bear feet". We were able to see how tall each student was in "bear feet". Using non-standard units (lego blocks, your own feet, ect) to introduce children to measurement is a fun and functional way of doing so. We discussed who was the tallest, then who was the next tallest, and so fourth.
