Today we read the book It's Pumpkin Day, Mouse! by Laura Numeroff. This book
was a good introduction to Jack O'Lanterns! The class enjoyed watching Mouse
decorate pumpkins and mimic their emotions. After reading the book, the class
had to pick what kind of pumpkins they liked best (scary or silly). We put all
the pumpkins on a graph and counted the number of scary pumpkins
vs. silly pumpkins.
