Letter H/h Graph

Our names are one of the most special things about us. Today in class we read Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes. We looked at how many letters were in Chrysanthemum's name. I asked the students if they can count the number of letters in their own first name on their fingers. I then asked the class how many people have the letter H/h in their name? It was great looking for the letter H/h since its our very special letter of the week! We made a graph to see how many people have the letter H/h in their name.
