One fish, two fish, add up all the fish!

Today the class used the interactive white board to play am addition game. The students had to count the fish in each bowl. This game helps the students visualize addition without the use of manipulatives. This will help early learners transition from solving problems in a concrete way to solving problems using mental addition strategies.
