S.T.E.M. at the Zoo!

Today we had a classroom engineering design challenge! We read the book The Gingerbread Man Loose at The Zoo. After reading the book, the class had some questions: What animals live in a zoo? Do all the animals live together? Who builds the zoo? Now it was time for the engineering design challenge! The students’ mission was to select materials and then build their own zoo. The discussion between the students was phenomenal! Everyone wanted to share their point of view.
